Chinese New Year @ Wing Wah in Coventry

In my final post of the retrospectives series, I talk about my Chinese New Year celebration with the Singaporeans in Coventry!

Chinese New Year celebrations here at Warwick were quite fun, going to WingWah, a buffet place in Coventry was quite something. Almost all the Singaporeans were there with a LARGE smattering of Malaysians too. What was the coolest thing about it all was that they even managed to get YuSheng for us all to enjoy. A nice touch I thought, but the food was not the best, even if there was a lot, and I guess it just really made me miss Singapore food more than anything.

Isn’t Coventry where Lady Godiva is from?

Haha Yes. Coventry is where Lady Godiva is from, you seem to know quite a bit about my “home town”
