First off. April Fools, I got some of you, and seriously, some of the things you guys were saying made me want to go STOP STOP this is a joke, I don’t want you guys to freak out over it. But April’s Fools are supposed to finish up @ 12 Noon on the 1st so here you are.
I has been an amazing ride at Tech65 actually, and I thought I’d take this time to write a post about my time @ this loose grouping of bloggers and bloggettes. We’ve always set out on a mission, to educate and to assist. The wonderful thing about this idea is we don’t even need a grouping. Tech65 can cease to exist tomorrow and we can still go about pursuing this goal. The added ingredient that Tech65 provides us, it’s raison d’etre is that we want to create as professional and as strong a product as possible. This is why we choose to meet every weekend and do all we can to discuss the latest and greatest the tech world has to offer us.
We’ve detractors, GOD knows I personally have detractors too. Some tell me that some of our members are dour and boring. I find the opposite. These are the most passionate and intelligent people I know, and I cherish the time I spent with them. They teach me more than anything and I know they will continue to do so. We are serious about what we do, and we are serious about our mission, it doesn’t mean however that we do not know to have fun. Yes, this joke got a bit stale towards the end, but if you read the posts carefully, you’ll realise that actually all that is being said is superficial and meaningless. These “petty” fights are precisely what keeps tech65 going, our disagreements make us stronger and our passion will only grow.
I thank all of you each and every one who reached out to me to ask me why, and tell me to move onward and upward. You guys are the real believers in Tech65 and I know will continue supporting us through whatever upheavals may come. I also know that we will move onward and upwards, with the crew @ Tech65.
Also, @Daniel sorry for making you my whipping boy in the previous post. You are a superstar and Tech65 couldn’t exist without you.
