It has been a fantastic run but it is official. I am no longer able to continue working with and under the leadership of Daniel Tsou and my colleagues at Tech65. The differences have been too many and the setbacks too great. Chief among my concerns was the lack of appreciation and renumeration for my efforts at the organisation.

Tech65 started as a humble and ambitious project, one where a person could speak his mind freely and frankly. But under the leadership of Daniel Tsou, things have taken a turn for the worse. The writers are treated like monkeys at type writers, and the podcasts have become nothing but episode after episode of discussions about bananas. It has been difficult to work under such conditions and I can no longer find joy in the simple pleasures of those delicious peanut butter crackers that Daniel often makes for us, along with the bowls of roasted peanuts that most members of Tech65 are fond of.

If Daniel was the reason to make me quit, my other colleagues were the added fuel to the fire. Nicole’s feminine charms have made it nearly impossible to work without wanting to break some harassment laws, DK’s constant exortations for me to have a beer, or a meal with him unbearable, NTT’s Indian accent (or lack thereof) grated on my ears so badly and Naveen’s intellect has proven to be too much for me to handle. Worst of all, Farinelli’s hair. I just could not stand to work near such… hair anymore.

It has been an incredible run for me and all of the Tech65 crew. I will continue to support the cause of educating and improving the lot of all consumers worldwide, but I’ve decided to focus more on my passion and love, establishing myself as the premier Tech Journalist in the Bukit Timah area of Singapore, living outside of Singapore. Thank you and I hope you will continue to support me and my website.
