EVYD Research
As Senior Legal Counsel at EVYD Technology, I've had the opportunity to spearhead various strategic initiatives across corporate restructuring, investment, and technology contracting with government entities. My role has encompassed comprehensive training of company personnel in compliance and regulatory requirements.
From 2022 to 2023, I achieved several significant milestones, including leading a successful M&A transaction and establishing a joint venture in the United States. I played a key role in restructuring the EVYD Group and implemented an employee stock awards program. During this period, I negotiated contracts with government ministries and a major US retail company. A highlight of my tenure was organizing the ASEAN Digital Public Health Conference, which brought together government officials and university representatives. I also provided specialized regulatory guidance on AI and data privacy in healthcare across multiple jurisdictions including Brunei, Singapore, and the United States. As the Data Protection Officer, I managed various aspects of HR, corporate matters, data protection, and policy training.
More recently, from 2023 onwards, I've supported broad policy initiatives throughout the EVYD group, developing contracting and grievance redress solutions. I created essential templates for software service delivery to government clients and developed a comprehensive AI Governance Framework for the company's AI initiatives. My corporate governance responsibilities expanded when I was appointed Secretary of both EVYD Tech Inc. and EVYD Technology Limited, where I prepared for Board meetings and managed legal requirements for potential proceedings. I've also overseen IP management for trademarks and successfully incorporated entities in Abu Dhabi Global Markets and Qatar Financial Centre. Additionally, I've provided support for arbitration proceedings under New York Law.
