Jerrick Lim - Legal Advisor
FOcussing on Corporate Commercial Matters, with experience in Employment law, M&A, Real Estate, Marketing and COrporate Secretarial Work
Having recently turned 30, I’ve considered that maybe it is time to put my good name to good use, and of course, that means having a website that looks semi-professional, so here is the professional aspect of my personal website if you’ve come a-lookin’ for that.
My full name is Lim, Jieq Jerrick 林杰, and currently I am a Legal Counsel II working at FedEx Express in its Singapore office, covering the South East Asia region.
I am an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, am accordingly, qualified to practice Singapore law, and am called to the Singapore Bar in 2014. I trained at WongPartnership LLP (in the Infrastructure, Construction and Engineering department and focussed on contentious construction matters), and practiced M&A at DLA Piper’s Singapore office.
Previously I had served as in-house counsel at Aon’s Singapore office, focussing on among other things, corporate restructuring, corporate commercial contract review, employment matters, restructuring and integration matters, M&A, and corporate secretarial matters.
In my current role at FedEx, I am focussed on commercial contract review, and I also cover real estate, marketing and security for the company. I am also responsible for contentious matter oversight in the region.
I speak English at a native level, as my first language, and Mandarin Chinese fluently.
I also speak French at a beginner’s level.
Dual Apple/ Windows proficiency + generally quite skilled at most office software platforms
Dual Android / iPhone user

Travel (I am a bit of an AVGeek, and a nut about planes, miles, hotels, and travel)
